Jairo will use anything that he has on hand or nearby, which usually includes a variety of needles, scissors, and other sharp things that you normally wouldn't want near you. Normally these attacks aren't immediately lethal, though they can be if he decides to go for your throat.

Since his body isn't exactly... flesh-based, Jairo is extremely flexible and able to repair himself if given the resources. Whether or not he feels pain, however, is a different story. This fear of being hurt (both physically and mentally) as well as his somewhat weak physical stature tend to force the marionette to avoid conflict, as he will most likely lose. If one of these "boundaries" are eliminated, however, Jairo will lash out quite violently, regardless if he as at risk of danger or not.

He is essentially a berserker if he ever reaches that point.

◊ Personality: Playful but sadistic at times. When he's doing his job, he maintains a gentle and patient (at times, childish) persona. Mainly driven by curiosity, he's easily thrown into hysterics when something goes wrong or is beyond his control. At the same time, Jairo is extremely protective of the things he holds dear, even going to extreme measures to defend them if necessary. He's also a bit of a workaholic.

Recent events have caused Jairo's "survivor's guilt" to resurface, tormenting him with headaches and messing with his judgement of what is right and what is wrong. Depending on how much he doubt he has about a certain situation, he can become quite violent if pushed over the edge. Fire is an example of such a trigger. Otherwise, he seems to act completely normal, albeit a bit more agitated and withdrawn than before.

There are points where Jairo can "lose" control over himself, adopting a persona other than his own. What he's like then...I'll leave to your imaginations.

◊ Bio:
Jairo loves making things. Well, "love" isn't exactly accurate, since he does find the repetitive nature of assembly to be quite mundane at times. But it's certainly amusing to have the power to create things at his disposal, especially if there's something he needs to satisfy his own little desires. Plus, he's dedicated to what he does, and he doesn't mind having to give the same stretch of a smile to the toys he meets everyday. It's the debt he has to pay to Nol, after all, ever since her shop's magic saved him from a certain fiery demise.

Ah, how Jairo still remembers his past owner -- an old, decrepit puppeteer really, one who grew to become increasingly like the devil ever since he was booted out of the circus. It didn't take long for him to try to dispose of everything he owned, including all his puppets. Didn't help that the old man was also a raging, drunken lunatic at the time.
And so, Jairo was thrown into the fireplace.

Unfortunately, the house caught on fire.
So did the other dolls.
And the old man.

But no, Jairo's too good to be bitter about that incident.
It's his job to be forgiving, afterall.

...at least, that's how he remembers it.
The visions he's been having as of late ever since he met Red, however, tell him otherwise. For one thing, was it really an accident? How exactly did this marionette escape the flames unscathed? Unless...it was really murder.

Red and the Reaper promised answers.

◊ Likes:
His "toys", hard candy, small shiny objects (like marbles, shards of glass, or bits of metal)

◊ Dislikes:
Shrill noises, fire, alcohol

◊ Additional Information:
- Jairo has his own little collection of knick-knacks that he likes to keep around in some hidden corner. This might have resulted from his strange fascination with small, shiny objects. Or maybe the menagerie serves as a comforting reminder for the things he lost in the fire. Or maybe it was created out of his own ~~sick~~ satisfaction.

Of course, either way, these "toys" of his are for his eyes only. Expect a needle in your eye if he finds out that you touched them.

- There is a deep burn that is imprinted on the right side of his chest, a final reminder of the fire he somehow managed to survive long ago. Occasionally it will hurt him due to some aggravation from an outside source or something psychologically. Jairo's tried removing it before, but was unsuccessful... maybe because of his reluctance to get rid of his guilt.

- Orca's probably the only real thing that's keeping him sane at the moment. She's the only thing that he really can't let go as he slips into madness.

- This marionette also tries to stay far away from booze. I wonder why. < u >
